Get Out The Vote
Sadly, Black voters historically do not always vote. Black votes can sometimes be the deciding factor in elections that have slim margins resulting in the best candidates not always winning. Bastrop County Black Chamber of Commerce aims to locate, educate, and ensure Black voters are making it to the polls informed leaving no vote left uncast.
During election times, we will mobilize to canvas voters, plan and host candidate forums, and register voters. On election days and during early voting we will make sure every voter is making their way to the polls to cast their ballots for not only the Black candidate, but for the best candidate with the interests of the Black community at heart.
